Activities: Hayrides
Enjoy the fun of an old-time hayride and roaring campfire! Every group will love this ideal social outing at Shryocks' Callaway Farms. Our tractor-drawn hayride wanders through the fields and along the quiet streams of our working family farm. End the hayride by roasting hotdogs and enjoying smores at a beckoning campfire! A wonderful activity to be enjoyed by all!

Making the Most of Your Night
Plan to spend the evening on the farm (approximately three hours). It is recommended that each person bring a flashlight. While sitting by the campfire, make memories with your friends and family by sharing good food, telling stories, singing songs, and star gazing. Any food items should be packed to carry on the wagon (pack a picnic basket, backpack, or use a cooler). Marshmallows and hot dogs are always campfire favorites! For chilly evenings, blankets make for a cozy hayride!
Special Instructions
Please provide each person in your group with directions to the farm and stress the importance of arriving promptly (it is recommended that you instruct your group to meet at the barn 20 minutes before departure time). Once the group has left on the hayride, it will be difficult for late arrivals to meet up with you.
Food Packages
Wish to avoid the hassle of packing food and beverages? Shryocks will pack two hotdogs (with buns and condiments), a bag of chips, a can of soda, and all the ingredients for two smores (not individually packaged). Food must be ordered least 48 hours prior to the scheduled hayride. Check back later this spring for 2008 season prices.

No alcoholic beverages allowed. All smoking is prohibited in the barn, in the maze, and while on the hayride. Individuals acting in an unsafe manner or with excessive rowdiness will be required to leave the premises.
